At some time in our life we all experience loss, whether it be divorce, loss of a job, loss of health or death of a loved one.
Honestly, there is nothing we can do to avoid heartbreak. However we can build our capacity to relax with whatever life is bringing us and we can cultivate the ability to live with our hearts open. It’s never too late or too soon, to begin your Grief Recovery journey.
How do we know, we’re experiencing grief?
- Rollercoaster ride of emotions, or numbing – can’t access feelings
- Interrupted sleep patterns: Sleeping too much, or not enough
- Lethargy and low energy
- Reduced concentration and focus – may lead to mishaps
Join certified Grief Recovery Method Specialist®, Keeley Ward and certified Yoga Instructor, Bhavaani Deanna Gray, as we explore how loss can be a catalyst for growth and transformation.
This special day will include Gentle Yoga and Yoga Nidra Meditation, Grief Recovery Method, and Expressive Arts.
Gentle Yoga & Meditation
Unwind tension and bring the body into balance with nurturing restorative yoga. Experience the deepest states of letting go through Yoga Nidra Meditation, where resistance is released and freed energy clears metal, emotional, energetic and physical blocks.
Grief Recovery Method
Learn about grief, what it really is, why it’s so misunderstood, as well as some of the myths and beliefs that can keep us feeling stuck, or in limbo. Understand what happens when we carry unresolved grief, and which tools to apply to begin healing.
You’re invited to go on a healing journey by expressing feelings and thoughts through creative exploration. No artistic experience or skills required. This gentle and supportive process will help express what’s in our bodies more than words.
