A sanctuary of healing, peace, and empowerment for survivors of sexual assault. This trauma-informed program invites you to gently unwind through guided meditation, mindful movement, and the soothing resonance of crystal bowl sound therapy. Each session offers a profoundly safe and compassionate space to rest, release, and reconnect with your inner strength. Through the harmonizing power of sound and stillness, you’ll calm the nervous system, ease tension, and rediscover the wholeness and peace that already lives within you.

Through participation, individuals will begin to…

Resilient

1. Heal the fragmented relationship with the body

Trauma can cause survivors to feel alienated from or even hostile toward their own body.

  • R&R provides a way to experience the body without needing to move or perform — simply to feel and witness. This practice cultivates compassionate body awareness through nonjudgmental observation and gently restores a sense of embodied presence and self-acceptance. It rebuilds trust in the body’s sensations as messengers rather than threats.

2. Experience opportunities for emotional release and Integration

Unprocessed fear, shame, anger, or grief often remain trapped in the subconscious.

  • The alpha-theta brainwave states accessed during mindfulness meditation allow suppressed emotions to pass through in a safe, nonreactive way. The witness consciousness developed through the practice allows emotions to be seen, felt, and released without re-traumatization. It supports emotional balance and resilience by completing the body’s interrupted trauma response.

3. Rewrite subconscious beliefs

Survivors frequently carry subconscious imprints of guilt, unworthiness, or powerlessness.

  • Through the conscious setting of intentions, survivors can seed new, empowering patterns in the subconscious. Over time, this rewiring replaces trauma-based identity with inner strength, wholeness, and self-love. The relaxed state of consciousness makes these positive affirmations more deeply integrated than ordinary conscious repetition.

4. Restore sleep capacity and reduce PTSD symptoms

Insomnia, flashbacks, and anxiety are common in trauma recovery.

  • This mindfulness meditation has been scientifically proven to be equal to three hours of restful sleep. It reduces the body’s stress hormones and muscle tension while lowering the heart rate. Also it helps calm intrusive thoughts, nightmares, and hyperarousal. It encourages restorative rest without the side effects of medication.

5. Empowerment and Inner Renewal

Beyond symptom relief, R&R reconnects survivors to the experience of wholeness.

  • Reawakens a sense of sacred connection to life, replacing despair with purpose and presence. Supports the return to a sense of belonging — within oneself and in the greater flow of existence. Develops grounding and self-regulation skills emphasizing slow, mindful movement with breath awareness.
